My goal is to ensure local politics remains honest and serves the people. I stand for decisions made transparently and in the interests of the community — not behind closed doors. A strong community doesn't take the easy way out, it notices, listens, and stands up for its people even when someone is left behind. We don't measure success solely in numbers, but in how strongly people feel that they are part of something bigger and have a place here.
About me
I have been involved in local government activities for the last two years: since October 2021, I was elected as a member of the Haapsalu City Council. I currently participate in the work of the council's culture committee and at the same time I also act as a member of the supervisory board of Haapsalu Linnamajanduse AS. My long-term work at "Ilon's Wonderland" has given me a lot of experience in communicating with groups of people of different sizes and ages, as well as with individuals, to whom I have offered house tours as a museum employee since 2008, conducted various educational programs and themed events. I have organized marketing and marketing events, prepared and conducted various cultural projects. I have also gained experience as a representative of the local government in working with people to identify and solve problems. On behalf of the city government, I have received and hosted foreign guests who arrived in Haapsalu, as well as colleagues from other Estonian municipalities.
